Hello! To start my legal name is William Lewis, but most people know me as William Goode, I am a 17-year-old boy who loves Jesus Christ. Most of the art shown in our website is drawn and painted by me! 

As I'm writing this, school has ended around 3 days ago, and I have 4 days till I go to YWAM for 6 months. (More details about this are in my other blog)

So, at the beginning of last year 2024, I was searching for a job that I was interested in, but I couldn't find any job that matched my preferences, and I also hated the idea of getting a job and still do! Until one day, I found that I could start my own online business, and I love that idea because it provided with the freedom that I wanted that other jobs didn't have.

I loved so much that I did some research about how to start a business and a few days later, I started my business called "AllThingsGoode" and I was doing pretty well until someone texted me who I thought was a customer and asked about the business and he wanted to help me. I agreed and we connected through Instagram for better communication, and I realized that he wasn't a customer, but a professional which surprised me because he was saying my art had great potential!

 After some time talking, I hired him to optimise a few of my products' SEO, but my Mum didn't like the idea of hiring this "professional" saying he was a scammer, and I was fighting between should I trust Mum or should I trust myself and in the end, I trusted myself and convinced my Mum to pay for him because I didn't have my own money which I regret to this today.

As I was waiting for the results, I had an emotional breakdown during the night which was my first time, and I was questioning everything saying, "Is this right?" "Is he a scammer or a professional?" "What if I am wrong?" And I was lost and had a mix of emotions, but in this moment of confusion, God came to me and told me that I shouldn't focus on my business but rather focus on my relationship with Jesus and improving my lifestyle!

So, I agreed and for a few days I kind of did nothing, until one day my Mum bought a product of mine and I had to provide ID for identification, but without knowing, I was permanently banned from my business because there was an age policy that I was violating and because of that I couldn't use my business anymore.

I believe that God did that to push into his direction/path, so that I can focus on my relationship with Jesus and my lifestyle, and for months I have tried multiply times to start my online business to no avail, but I also have been focusing on Jesus and my lifestyle, so thank you God!

Fastforward to June 2025, God has given me the green light to start my online business through Shopify instead of Etsy and for 4 months it has been going great! As you can see with my website.

And that where we are right now! I plan on spreading my wings to Instagram, making a book and farther improving my website with different products like journals and gift cards.
